Coaching for individuals, leaders, or Relationship Systems coaching, be it organizations and groups, teams or partnerships, reminds the client of the power of living a life based upon honouring their values, owning their honest experience, and choosing perspectives and actions that are beneficial and abundant for themselves and others.
Coaching Services
Individuals: Coaching sessions are designed with you, the client, in mind. Sessions typically run between 45 - 60 minutes each, the length and frequency of which are discussed and agreed upon before starting the coaching relationship. It is important to understand what works best for you, your learning style, and to design that with me up front.
Leadership/Organizations: Sessions will vary depending on the nature of the agreement and expectations. Leadership assessments and feedback are done in a number of different ways, but the best practice starts with a series of interviews (360's) and observations. The focus may be on the leader in action at meetings, when giving speeches, and when engaging in one-on-one interactions. They also include discussions on the broader organizational issues - especially those in the people realm, such as the leader's challenges with their team or individuals, the organizational climate, culture, politics, and how all this fits with their personal goals and aspirations. It is important to understand the vision of true leadership prior to designing a program that will work for all involved. Clarity of what is important to the organization in the area of coaching and leadership development is crucial for an effective and productive relationship.
Relationships:Relationship coaching sessions are designed with the “relationship” system in mind. The relationship, be it organizations and groups, teams, or partnerships will require different approaches. Each session will vary in length and frequency depending on the desired outcome.
Regardless of the type of coaching, my objective is to help you achieve your desired results and goals, while honouring you as a unique individual. Coaching is not an “off the shelf self-help kit” but a customized one-of-a-kind experience.
Commitment
Coaching is about change, be it perspectives, achievements, behaviours, direction, or awareness. Significant change happens over time, so the commitment to coaching should not be taken lightly. In order for the coaching relationship to develop and be powerful, I am requesting an initial 6-month commitment to the coaching process. What this allows is that when the going gets tough we stay in collaboration and work through to the other side. As your coach you have my word that I am 100% committed to you being powerful, successful and having the life you want. Just know that all your possibilities and potential are up to you. Achieving ones goals, changing perspectives, choosing the outcomes and next steps is 100% the responsibility of the client. There are no pass or fail marks, only choices. It is the client who makes those choices. No one else. |
